With minimalistic white frames on every artwork, Michael Rosenfeld, founder of The Michael Rosenfeld Gallery has created an inspiring and ambitious exhibition of exceptional artworks by the masters of the 20th century American art. It’s interesting to note that in this fair, Michael Rosenfeld’s endeavor is to encourage people to start collecting by presenting important works on paper in a far more acceptable price range. As such, works on paper by Lee Bontecou, one of Rosenfeld’s favorite artists, are presented to the viewer in the most neutral of settings allowing for the examination of the artist’s technique and vision.

Rosenfeld argues that the collectors are paying more attention to works on paper for a variety of reasons – portability, size, and price range and the latest sales reports seem to support this argument.
Michael Rosenfeld Gallery has recently moved to New York’s famous Chelsea gallery district. The gallery is located on the spacious ground floor of the momentous Jean Nouvel Building on 11th avenue.
